1. Introduction

True North Silicon Inc. ("Company", "we", "us") operates the Moore.io platform. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal information when you use our Service.

2. Information We Collect

Account Information: When you register, we collect your username, email address, and password. You may optionally provide your first name, last name, and profile avatar.

Organization Information: If you belong to an organization, we store organization name, description, logo, and membership data as provided by your organization's administrator.

Project and IP Data: We store the IP specifications, testbench configurations, and project metadata you create on the platform. This includes entity definitions, parameter values, and version history.

Usage Data: We collect server logs including IP addresses, browser type, pages visited, and timestamps for the purpose of service operation and security.

AI Interaction Data: When you use AI-assisted features (Irene, mio spec, mio code), your prompts and the AI responses are processed to deliver the service. We do not use your prompts or IP data to train AI models.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To provide, maintain, and improve the Service
• To authenticate your identity and manage your account
• To enforce access control and permissions within projects and organizations
• To generate UVMx code and deliver AI-assisted verification features
• To communicate with you about the Service, including security alerts and updates
• To comply with legal obligations

4. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored on servers located in Canada. We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (TLS), secure password hashing, and access controls. On-premise deployments store all data within your own infrastructure.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We may share data with:

• Your organization: Organization administrators can see member accounts, projects, and IP within their organization
• AI service providers: When using cloud AI features, prompts are sent to the configured LLM provider (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic) under their respective data processing agreements. On-premise deployments process AI requests locally
• Legal requirements: We may disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights

6. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Project and IP data is retained for as long as the owning project exists. You may delete your projects and IP at any time. Upon account deletion, your personal data is removed within 30 days.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate information
• Request deletion of your account and associated data
• Export your IP specifications and project data
• Object to or restrict certain processing of your data

8. Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We use local storage for UI preferences (sidebar state, dark mode). We do not use tracking cookies or third-party analytics.

9. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed at individuals under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated policy on the Service.
